Senior Product Designer

Hello, I’m Shreshta. A hybrid product and visual designer. I create and prototype digital interfaces and the systems behind them, helping product teams ship faster with cohesion.

I've been a product designer for the past three years at the global, multi-brand, multimedia publisher Condé Nast. Prior to that, I worked for five years as a Visual and UI Designer.

I help companies build and grow their products by leveraging my background in graphic design, understanding of typography and color theory, and a hands-on, tool-agnostic approach.

I consider myself a generalist. I've worked in-house at tech companies, delving deeply into products. I've also worked at design studios and consultancies to gain a breadth of design experience across various sectors and growth stages.

As a designer, I brought the Epicurious App to market, meticulously crafting every detail, and grew it into an app that people love to come back to.

Freelance Designer

July 2025 — Present

Working on an upcoming personal project that I spoke about at the BeautyAndYou Awards, hosted by NIV, ELC & Nykaa. Some work below for Studio Hellohello.

I was also involved in smaller projects across different Condé Nast brands. Most notably, I worked on implementing an Open AI integration on BonAppétit.com and designed commenting and saving features across CN Traveler in my third year.

I spent most of 2022 working on the design and executing details for the relaunch of the Epicurious iOS app as a subscription product. I created and scaled a responsive design system, designed the core experience, components and interactions. I worked closely with devs, PMs, marketing, editorial, and subscription teams and even stepped in for visual QA for our tight MVP launch.

I went on to become the design owner of the app, and lead the design and integration of features like saving, community, vertical video, and curated collections in my second year.

Senior Visual Designer

April 2020 — Apr 2022

My role at this fast-paced design studio varied between visual design, content design, UI/UX, website design, creating style guides and simple design systems. I got to work first-hand with a breadth of clients, founders and startups to produce 0-to-1 consumer tech products in sectors like fin-tech, e-commerce, fact-checking, lifestyle, and education.

I shipped a variety of digital experiences like mobile apps, web apps, landing pages, identity touch-points, illustrative editorial design pieces, peer-to-peer platforms, and complex hierarchical websites during my time here. I worked with a talented team of in-house developers that helped shape vision in ambiguous spaces.

Designer II

June 2016 — March 2020

I started my career redesigning the Tizen mobile OS, a custom Samsung OS built on an extremely lightweight Linux framework. It’s flexible enough to run smartphones, smartwatches, wearables, speakers, home appliances, security systems, and TVs. I was part of the team that redesigned the Mobile OS’s look-and-feel, conceptualizing wallpapers, UI, app icons, and system icons, and exploring Tizen’s customizable UI. I also designed the yearly updates for native in-built apps Camera, Call, and Phone. Back then, we designed screens in Photoshop and maintained Design Systems on Powerpoint. Ha!

Later, I started working on the Android design system OneUI, and upgraded features for the Samsung Health and SmartHome apps across devices.

I was part of the team that implemented ElderCare, an IOT solution for monitoring health and preventing accidents among seniors. Using motion sensors, security systems and wearables that provide multiple points of data entry in order to allow remote assistance.

In my third year, I moved into Wearables, aka the Galaxy Watch. I worked on information design of health-based activity, WatchFaces, some fun breathing visualizations, activity rings.
